Harneet Kour, hailing from a Sikh family in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, is a young woman driven by ambition and a passion for both the entertainment industry and business. With roots in the cultural heart of Jammu and Kashmir, Harneet pursued her education in arts at Jammu University after completing her schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 in Jammu Cantt. Her journey into the world of cinema began with her debut in the Punjabi film Udeekan Teriyan (2023), where she portrayed the character of young Amrita Kour, marking the beginning of her acting career and showcasing her versatility and determination to succeed.

But Harneet is not just an actress—she is also a passionate entrepreneur. As the managing director of Hmkn Entertainment Pvt Ltd and Vyvn Eventing Tickets Pvt Ltd, she has built a foundation in the business world, where she continues to excel and innovate. Her achievements were recognized at the Mbance Metkonnect Business Awards 2023 in Mumbai, where she was honored with the title of “Emerging Celebrity Entrepreneur of the Year.”

1. Can you tell us about your journey in both the business and acting worlds so far?
   My journey has been incredibly fulfilling. I started my business with a vision to create innovative solutions, while my passion for acting led me to explore storytelling in a different form. Both paths have allowed me to grow in unique ways and pursue my dreams.
2. How do you balance your time between running a business and pursuing an acting career?
   Balancing both requires meticulous planning and prioritization. I ensure that I dedicate time to both my business and acting roles by staying organized, delegating tasks when necessary, and maintaining a strong focus on my goals.
3. What inspired you to pursue both business and acting?
   I’ve always been drawn to the creativity and storytelling in acting, as well as the strategic thinking and innovation in business. The ability to merge these two worlds and create something impactful is what inspired me to pursue both careers.
4. What challenges have you faced in managing both your business and acting commitments, and how have you overcome them?
   Managing both commitments can be demanding, but I tackle challenges with resilience and a positive mindset. I prioritize my tasks, stay organized, and trust in my support system to help me navigate any obstacles.
5. How has your success in business influenced your acting career, and vice versa?
   My success in business has given me financial stability and the freedom to take on acting roles that align with my artistic vision. Similarly, my acting career has increased my visibility and brought valuable skills like communication and creativity to my business ventures.
6. What advice would you give to others juggling multiple passions like you do?
   My advice is to stay true to your vision, prioritize self-care, and seek a strong support system. Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and never lose sight of your goals.
7. What are your goals for the future in both business and acting?
   In the coming years, I aim to expand my business globally, take on diverse and challenging acting roles, and continue to inspire others to pursue their passions fearlessly while making a positive impact in both industries.

Currently, Harneet is awaiting the release of her debut Bollywood film, Eeshwar, where she stars in the lead role of Meena.
