Fashion brand ‘Superdry’ hosts Urban Street Night party with Yami Gautam at LFW 2018.

Bollywood actor and youth fashion icon Yami Gautam was roped in to set the party going at the recently concluded Lakme Fashion Week 2018 Winter / Festive.

The party was hosted by UK fashion brand ‘Superdry’ at The Apartment by RBL at LFW, St Regis Hotel in Mumbai.

The celebration began with a customary cake cutting and a Q&A session about the brands presence in India.  The party had several influencers and bloggers who were invited to offer a glimpse of the brand’s growing popularity among the youths of India who are conscious of chic street fashion.

Yami was an apt choice to the brand’s line of young, fun, sexy and fresh look.  Mohit Rai who put together Yami’s look for the Superdry party was all praises for her youthful, fresh and energetic look which falls well with the brand’s signature style of offering urbane street chic.  The look is inspired by the Milan street fashion, with Yami sporting her short hairstyle with big hoop earrings.  The outfit is a great mix of seperates,  a denim shirt sported with a short ripped skirt, teamed with socks and pumps to complete the ensemble.

Superdry plc is a UK branded clothing company, and owner of the Superdry label.  The brand combines vintage American styling with Japanese inspired graphics, which are frequently meanlingless excerpts of Japanese text, commonly used to increase the clothings fashionability and appeal.

The brand’s popularity doesn’t stop at U.K. though, slowly gradually, it is making its presence felt across the globe.  Superdry can now be found in numerous American and European cities, with some shops in China, South Korea and Malaysia.
