It was obvious everyone was excitedly looking forward to witness, showstopper of the evening, the gorgeous Meenakshi Sheshadri, who is back in India, and ready with her comback after 27 years. The setting of the evening show seems to beckon to all to celebrate her comeback with this awestriking fashion event. Looking like she owned the ramp, Meenakshi seem to set the heart aflutter with her finale walk. The audience and fashionistas cheered on as she glided with grace and beauty accompanied by fellow showstoppers the suave Daniel Weber and heart-throb Simba Nagpal. It was an enchanting journey through the world of style, luxury, and innovation leaving the onlookers awestruck with the burst of colours and festivities reflected in the collection. Once again Rohit Varma outdid himself!
The evening was a masterful blend of ethnic splendor and contemporary chic, designed to celebrate the rich tapestry of Indian fashion. Distinguished celebrities, each an icon, graced the event, adding their star power to an already scintillating show. Speaking about the essence of his brand-new collection, Designer Rohit Verma sparked a conversation saying, “Why are we still obsessed with white culture and lifestyle while turning a blind eye to the rich histories and uniqueness of people of color? To me, fashion has always been about expression of ideas and emotions. And through this collection I want to empower each and every one, no matter their color, creed or gender.”
