The grand finale of the fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2018 was indeed a night to remember, Anukreethy Vas, a 19-year-old college student from Tamil Nadu was crowned Miss India World 2018.
Meenakshi Chaudhary, 21 years, from Haryana was crowned fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2018 1st runner-up and Shreya Rao Kamavarapu, 23 years, from Andhra Pradesh bagged the fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2018 2nd runner-up title.
Anukreethy Vas was crowned by the previous year winner and the reigning Miss World 2017, Manushi Chillar, Miss United Continents 2017, Sana Dua and Miss Intercontinental 2017, Priyanka Kumari for the respective titles to the end of the event.
The top five state winners from Delhi, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu had to answer the question “ Who is the better teacher? Success or Failure?” to compete for the coveted title.
This was the 55th edition of Femina Miss India 2018 pageant which was held at the Dome @NSCI, Mumbai.
It was a star-studded affair, highlighted by performances by Jacqueline Fernandez, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar.
Other celebrities present at the event were Malaika Arora Khan, designer Gaurav Gupta, Bobby Deol, Cricketers K L Rahul, Irfan Pathan.
Celebrities Karan Johan and Ayushman Khurana played host for the evening.
