Marking a historic milestone as Prime Minister Narendra Modi completes 12 years in office, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis officially released a special commemorative collectible issue titled “Tappurti of Nation-Building” at the Ravindra Natyamandir in Prabhadevi. Joined by BJP State President Ravindra Chavan, the state leadership gathered to celebrate the achievements of PM Narendra Modi, highlighting India’s dramatic economic transformation from a self-reliant domestic market into a global manufacturing hub driving the ‘Make for the World’ vision.
CM Fadnavis emphasized that over this transformative 12-year tenure, Prime Minister Modi has demonstrated how awakening a nation’s self-respect can catalyze comprehensive global change. Shifting India away from a historic reliance on foreign grants, PM Modi’s visionary leadership has firmly secured the country’s respected status on the international stage. A cornerstone of this shift has been the acceleration of the “Make in India” campaign, successfully transitioning the nation toward a powerful “Make for the World” manufacturing strategy. This strategic evolution has effectively reshaped India’s image from a struggling, aid-dependent economy into an emerging global superpower. As PM Modi marks the completion of his 12-year milestone on May 26, 2026, this era of successful governance stands as a profound boon for all citizens.
Adding that the sheer scale of PM Modi’s achievements over the past 12 years is too vast to compress into a single volume, CM Fadnavis pointed to the rigorous, last-mile delivery of crucial central government welfare schemes. Instead of relying on temporary handouts, the administration implemented a structured, poverty-centric development agenda. Groundbreaking initiatives such as the “Toilet in Every Household” drive and the “Ujjwala Gas Scheme” have driven massive societal change. This deliberate policy framework has yielded historic economic results, successfully lifting 250 million people out of poverty over the last decade.
India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was ₹103 lakh crore in 2013-14, which increased to ₹357 lakh crore by 2025-26, a threefold increase. Maharashtra’s GDP increased from ₹13 lakh crore in 2013-14 to ₹54 lakh crore in 2025-26. This progress has been witnessed by the entire world. This development under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership is not the result of mere announcements, but the result of a planned and development-oriented strategy.

This has brought light to the homes of the poor, dignity to women, opportunities to the youth, and confidence to citizens.

Ravindra Chavan also stated that “Tappurti of Nation Building” is not just a collectible issue, but a historical document of the transformation of New India.
He concluded by stating that while some people practice penance through spirituality, others serve society through art and literature, PM Modi has dedicated himself to serving the nation. This is why he has emerged as a “national ascetic.” This special issue has been published with the aim of compiling his works and making them accessible to the public
