Following the successful signing of contracts and the necessary approvals, operations will begin with a dedicated team of 100 employees across key technology hubs in Pune, Bengaluru, and Chennai. This venture aims for rapid growth, targeting a workforce expansion into the thousands by the end of 2024, with a strong focus on attracting India’s top engineering talent. BMW TechWorks India enhances BMW Group’s global strategy by developing seamless software solutions for next-gen vehicles and improving digital experiences. Leveraging Tata Technologies’ expertise in the entire product value chain, from concept to SDV development, the JV will drive innovation in key software projects while tapping into India’s rich talent pool.
