One Man, One Job & One Hell of a Night! says the tag line for the upcoming film Bloody Daddy which is all set to premiere exclusively on JioCinema, on 9th June for free.
The stylized action-packed ride marks JioCinema’s first direct-to-OTT film, making it one of Bollywood’s biggest film to embrace a digital release. The brand unveiled the trailer of this Ali-Abbas Zafar – directorial at a special event hosted in Mumbai with lead actor Shahid Kapoor present at the event.
The film is a remake of the French film – Nuit Blanche (Sleepless Nights), starring Tomer Sisley. The movie will showcase the actor playing the role of a father who is on the run to save his child from the mafia. It is going to be an action saga, and Shahid Kapoor is playing a father who is involved in a lot of blood and gore to protect his child, so the title pretty much suits the film.
Essaying the lead role Shahid Kapoor will be accompanied by an equally talented Diana Penty as the leading actress. Apart from these two talented actors, others like Ronit Roy, Sanjay Kapoor, and Rajeev Khandelwal will also be seen in pivotal roles in the movie.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Sunil Kheterpal, Gaurav Bose, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and Ali Abbas Zafar, the action packed extravaganza is a Jio Studios, AAZ Films & Offside Entertainment production in association with Vermilion World and written by Ali Abbas Zafar and Aditya Basu.
Speaking about his unconventional role, Shahid Kapoor said , “Doing an out-an-out action film was something I have been wanting to do but I was waiting for the right one to come my way. When I was offered this project, I knew this was it! It’s high octane, its action packed, it’s thrilling, it’s intense and more. We really love what we have created together and are bloody excited to see the audience reaction now.”
