At Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI, Indriya—the fine jewellery maison by Aditya Birla Group—in collaboration with couturier Amit Aggarwal, unveiled Orizon, a showcase that felt less like a presentation and more like a study in modern Indian luxury.
Known for his unmistakable design language—where sculptural silhouettes meet engineered drapes and future-forward materiality—Amit Aggarwal brought a sense of architectural precision to the runway. Paired with Indriya’s luminous vocabulary of Polki and diamonds, the result was a seamless convergence of couture and high jewellery, where each element elevated the other in a quiet yet commanding dialogue.
Orizon unfolded not in statements, but in sensations. The opening frames were almost meditative—restrained diamond compositions catching the faintest glimmers of light, setting the tone for what would become a gradual, immersive build. As the showcase evolved, so did its intensity. Polki and gold emerged with greater presence, their traditional forms refracted through contemporary geometry, creating pieces that felt at once rooted and radically current.
Aggarwal’s garments mirrored this progression. Handloom textiles, vintage Banarasi weaves, and his signature mirrorwork were reimagined into sculptural forms that moved with intention. The evening found its most striking expression as Disha Patani took centre stage, embodying the spirit of Orizon in a look that merged sculptural couture with radiant jewellery.
