In a groundbreaking achievement for Ayurvedic medicine, Amrith Noni has successfully completed human clinical trials for its flagship product, Amrith Noni Artho Plus, setting a new benchmark in natural arthritis treatment. Conducted in collaboration with Nalanda Clinserve and following the stringent guidelines of CTRI-Reg India, the double-blind, randomized trial has proven the product’s efficacy in managing common arthritic conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and gout. This pivotal step not only underscores Amrith Noni’s unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality solutions but also highlights the growing need for innovative, safer treatments for arthritis, a condition affecting over 210 million people in India alone.
Addressing a press conference in Mumbai, Dr. A.K. Srinivasamurthy, Managing Director of ValYou Products Ltd., emphasized the urgent need for alternatives to conventional arthritis treatments. “Arthritis is more prevalent than diseases such as cancer, AIDS, and diabetes, impacting 15% of India’s population,” he said, adding that the condition has become increasingly common among younger people due to stress and unhealthy lifestyles. While acknowledging that there is no complete cure, Dr. Srinivasamurthy stressed the importance of safer, more effective management solutions.
Amrith Noni, a trusted name in Ayurvedic medicine for 15 years, has now added to its legacy with the successful validation of Amrith Noni Artho Plus, a product that could offer significant relief to millions suffering from arthritis-related pain and discomfort.
Smt. Mangalambike, Managing Director of OmShree Marketing Solutions Pvt. Ltd., highlighted the advanced research and development behind the product. Over 30 lakh satisfied customers have found relief from knee pain, back pain, and hip pain with its unique and effective formula.”
The brand’s dedication to rigorous scientific research has previously yielded success. Earlier, it conducted a clinical trial for Amrith Noni D Plus and completed cell line studies on cancer cells with its product Canci-Care.
Dr. K. Venkateshwaralu, Head of Clinical Research at Nalanda Clinserve, provided an in-depth look at the recently completed human clinical trial for Amrith Noni Artho Plus, conducted in Varanasi. The study, which involved 40 patients for each condition—Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Gout—was conducted over a period of six months, with a rigorous, double-blind, randomized design to ensure accurate results. Patients were divided into active and placebo groups, with assessments taking place at two-month intervals to track the progress of their symptoms. This structured approach allowed for a detailed evaluation of the product’s effectiveness and safety, with the results showing significant improvements in joint mobility and pain relief. Dr. Venkateshwaralu highlighted that the trial provides strong evidence for the potential of Amrith Noni Artho Plus as a viable, natural alternative for managing arthritis, a condition that affects millions worldwide.
The clinical trial for Amrith Noni Artho Plus demonstrated significant improvements across various forms of arthritis. In Osteoarthritis patients, there was notable relief in pain and enhanced mobility, along with improvements in blood calcium, magnesium levels, and bone mineral density compared to the placebo group. For rheumatoid arthritis, the treatment led to a marked reduction in C-reactive protein (CRP), rheumatoid factor (RA factor), and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), while also improving serum immunoglobulin and antinuclear antibody (ANA) levels. Patients with Gout experienced reduced pain and inflammation, along with a better quality of life, and their kidney and liver functions remained healthy, all without experiencing any side effects.
Speaking at the press conference, Omsree Marketing Solutions Pvt Ltd CEO Narayan & Ayurvedic experts Dr. Sandeep Benakal commended the breakthrough research.
Amrith Noni continues to set benchmarks in Ayurvedic healthcare by combining traditional wisdom with modern scientific validation.
