The prestigious Sarvottam Nagrik Sanman 2024 awards ceremony, hosted by Meghashrey NGO, took place in a glittering event hosted at the Taj Land’s End, Bandra, Mumbai. This year’s awards celebrated achievements in social work, education, science, health and wellness and arts, recognizing those whose efforts have significantly impacted society.
Among the distinguished recipients were Shilpa Shetty Kundra, celebrated for her inspiring work in health and wellness, and Padma Bhushan awardee Udit Narayan, honored for his exceptional contributions to arts and culture. Anupam Kher for his work in the field of Film and Entertainment. Ruskin Bond, Author and Padma Bhushan Awardee for his exemplary work (award received by his son Siddharth Bond), Padma Shri recipient Brahmeshanand Acharya Swami ji popularly known as Sadguruji for his peace and humanitarian work were a few of the receipients.
Shri Ashish Shelar President Mumbai BJP and BCCI Treasurer graced the occassion with his crackling speech acknowledging the awardees and dignitaries present and their exemplary work in their respective fields. The event was further distinguished by the presence of actors Puneet Issar and Shekhar Sumar, noted members of the local constituency Asif Bamla, Zeeshan Siddique, and Consulate Heads of Vietnam, Mexico, and Israel, who came together adding a global touch to the ceremony.
