Synology Launches Enterprise Solution Blueprint in India, Sees 600% Revenue Growth

Synology has introduced its enterprise-level application blueprint for the first time in India. The prominent NAS brand reported a remarkable sixfold increase in its business sector revenue in the Indian market, achieving a total revenue growth of 350% since 2021. In addition, the company unveiled several software updates and announced exciting new products, including the comprehensive backup solution known as ActiveProtect appliances, a scale-out storage solution, and enhanced surveillance solutions.

Michael Chang, Synology’s APAC Sales Head, stated: “Driven by the demand of technology trend, such as AI, IOT, digital transformation, and so on, Synology has performed exceptionally well in the Indian enterprise market, especially in sectors like government, manufacturing, and media and entertainment. Moving forward, we will continue to dedicate ourselves to meeting the modern storage needs of growing enterprises.”

Synology unveiled its latest innovations in data protection, storage, and surveillance, focusing on solutions tailored to meet the increasing demands of modern enterprises. The ActiveProtect series addresses deployment and sizing challenges with an intuitive interface, supporting protection for up to 2,500 multi-server environments across various locations. It also offers data immutability and retention policies to ensure business continuity in the event of ransomware attacks.

Russell Chen, Country Manager of the SAARC Region at Synology, stated, ‘The ActiveProtect series is highly suited for the Indian market, with its focus on data recovery and immutability, making it a reliable tool for IT to ensure data security. Additionally, we assure the multi-site friendly system will align well with India’s business structure.”

For high-capacity, seamless data management, the new Scale-out Solution offers scalable storage that supports both file and object formats, ensuring performance growth as additional storage servers are added. To address the varied requirements of modern smart surveillance, Synology introduced its C2 Surveillance Station (region-restricted), a cloud-based video surveillance solution featuring edge AI and multi-layer encryption for secure and efficient monitoring in environments without local recording servers. Additionally, Synology has updated its Office Suite productivity tool, integrating GenAI features to enhance collaboration and streamline workflows.
