
~ Assistive Devices distributed, in coordination with ALIMCO, to approximately 9000 Divyangjan at 20 locations across India
On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, globalnewsmakers in the banking industry State Bank of India (SBI) hosted a felicitation ceremony to honour India’s Paralympic champions from the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. The Bank presented cheques to 29 athletes in recognition of their exceptional performances, which contributed to India’s best-ever 18th-place finish at the Games.
SBI also announced a new collaboration with the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) as part of its CSR initiatives for FY 2024-25. This partnership aims to distribute assistive devices to approximately 9,000 Divyangjan across 20 locations nationwide.
These efforts reflect SBI’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity, empowerment, and supporting the growth of Indian sports.
