REC Limited, a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, and its wholly owned subsidiary, REC Power Development & Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), have received top honors at the 17th Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) PSU & Government Summit 2025.
REC Limited was adjudged the Best Financial Services Company in the Central PSU category, recognizing its robust performance, financial stability, and consistent support for infrastructure and energy projects nationwide. In addition, REC was also conferred with the prestigious Sustainability Icons Award 2025 for its excellence in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. The award highlights REC’s strong commitment to integrating sustainability into its core operations and advancing India’s green energy transition.
RECPDCL, the subsidiary of REC, won the award for Best Power Transmission Company in the Central PSU category. The recognition underscores RECPDCL’s expertise as a Bid Process Coordinator (BPC) and consultant, playing a pivotal role in fast-tracking power transmission projects across the country.
The awards were presented by Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon’ble Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law & Justice, at a ceremony in New Delhi. Sh. T.S.C. Bosh, CEO of RECPDCL and Executive Director of REC Ltd., received the honors for both REC and RECPDCL, while Shri Awanish Kumar Bharati, General Manager (Finance), accepted the Sustainability Icons Award on behalf of REC.
These recognitions collectively reinforce REC Group’s leadership in financial services, power transmission, and sustainability, further strengthening its contribution to India’s energy sector and inclusive growth.
