Pinkathon, India’s largest women’s run and the world’s first women-only fitness movement, is set to return with its 10th milestone edition in Mumbai on December 21, 2025 at the MMRDA Grounds, BKC. Founded by actor, entrepreneur, and fitness icon Milind Soman, the run has transformed into a national phenomenon that celebrates women’s health, inclusivity, and empowerment.
With categories ranging from the 3 km, Lifelong 5 km, and 10 km runs to ultra-distances of 50 km, 75 km, 100 km, and relay formats, the event ensures that every participant—whether a first-time runner or a seasoned endurance athlete—finds her place in this milestone celebration.
A Purpose-Led Partnership
This year’s edition takes on added meaning with Zydus Lifesciences Ltd. joining as Title Partner in a powerful collaboration to champion breast cancer awareness and preventive health. Through the Easiest Exam campaign, Zydus is encouraging women to dedicate just three minutes each month to a self-breast exam—an act that could save countless lives in a country where one woman dies of breast cancer every eight minutes due to late detection.
Pinkathon has always stood out for its spirit of inclusivity, and the landmark 10th edition in Mumbai promises to celebrate this ethos like never before. From senior citizens proving that age is no barrier, to babywearing mothers balancing fitness with nurturing, to saree-clad women redefining style in motion, the event welcomes every story and stride. Even visually challenged participants join in with guides, highlighting the true partnership and strength of community that Pinkathon represents.
Founder Milind Soman shared at the press conference in Mumbai:
“At Pinkathon, our mission has always been to inspire every woman to take charge of her health while building a community of strength and inclusivity. With Zydus as our partner, we are amplifying this mission and encouraging women to integrate fitness into daily life while raising awareness on preventive health and breast cancer detection.”
Stories of Strength and Transformation
This message of inclusivity and resilience was echoed by the event’s ambassadors—Devieka Bhojwani, a breast cancer survivor; Lavina Bhatia, a babywearing mother, grandmother, and fighter; and Dipti Gandhi, a visually challenged yet empowered runner—who shared their personal journeys of breaking societal pressures and overcoming inhibitions. Each of them spoke about how being part of Pinkathon gave new meaning to their lives, encouraging them to prioritize their health while inspiring their families with a happier, stronger, and healthier lifestyle. Their stories reflect the very soul of Pinkathon: a movement where every woman, no matter her background or challenge, finds the courage to rise, run, and thrive.
Invincible Women: Pushing the Limits
Adding to the excitement, Ankita Konwar’s Invincible Women initiative will see its third Mumbai edition, challenging women to go beyond their limits with ultra-distances. “True competition lies within,” Konwar emphasized, highlighting the initiative’s focus on resilience, endurance, and self-belief.
A Decade of Impact and Inspiration
Since its inception in 2012, Pinkathon has grown into a nationwide movement of impact and inspiration. Over the past decade, it has inspired more than 500,000 women to take up running, facilitated free breast screenings for thousands, raised over ₹1 crore to support underprivileged cancer patients, and built a strong network of ambassadors across 300 locations in India. Each milestone reflects its unwavering mission to empower women to prioritize their health while creating a community rooted in strength, inclusivity, and collective well-being

Every Woman’s Run, Every Woman’s Story
Backed by partners like Lifelong, Grand Hyatt, Maitrayana, Fit India, and SAI, and strengthened by its purpose-led collaboration with Zydus Lifesciences, the 10th edition in Mumbai is set to be the most impactful yet. As the run kicks off a nine-month, six-city journey through Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Delhi, Pinkathon continues to embody Milind Soman’s vision—that fitness is not exclusive, but a universal right.
By creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for women of all walks of life, Pinkathon proves it is more than a sporting event—it is a cultural shift in how women approach health, wellness, and community bonding.
