In a newly released behind-the-scenes video, audiences get to witness yet another jaw-dropping moment that showcases Tom Cruise’s legendary dedication to doing his own stunts. The clip captures an intense aerial stunt sequence where Cruise personally pilots a helicopter through dramatic and challenging landscapes. What makes this moment even more iconic is knowing that Cruise underwent extensive aviation training to not only become a certified pilot but to also perform these dangerous sequences himself, with cameras rolling.
As co-star Simon Pegg perfectly summed it up in a recent interview, “Tom doesn’t do most of his stunts – he does all of his stunts. Our mantra has always been: the stunts are real.”
