India Energy Week (IEW) 2025, scheduled for February 11-14, 2025, at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi, will be the second-largest energy event globally, according to Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas. Spanning over 1 lakh square meters, IEW 2025 will showcase significant global participation, with Ministers, CEOs, and industry leaders setting new benchmarks for the energy sector.
Speaking to the media, Minister Puri highlighted the Clean Cooking Ministerial, a key event at IEW 2025. The Ministerial will serve as a vital platform to accelerate global adoption of clean cooking solutions, with India’s successful Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) taking center stage. The program will share valuable insights and best practices, positioning PMUY as a global model to tackle energy access challenges.
IEW 2025 will witness a significant scale-up, with exhibition space expanding by 65% to 28,000 square meters, 105 conference sessions, and over 70,000 global delegates. More than 500 speakers, including influential international figures, will participate. The conference will also feature 10 country pavilions from leading nations like the U.S., UK, Russia, Japan, Germany, and the Netherlands, and eight thematic zones covering hydrogen, renewables, biofuels, and petrochemicals.
The event will be attended by 20+ Foreign Energy Ministers or Deputy Ministers, Heads of International Organizations, and 90 CEOs from Fortune 500 energy companies, reflecting India’s growing influence in shaping the global energy transition. Minister Puri also emphasized initiatives to engage youth and innovators, with leading IITs, startup platforms like “Avinya” and “Vasudha,” and 500 students from Delhi/NCR showcasing technology-driven solutions.
Key themes at IEW 2025 will include energy security, just and orderly transitions, collaboration, resilience, capacity building, and digital advancements. The Clean Cooking Ministerial will further bolster India’s leadership in ensuring access to sustainable and affordable energy solutions, reaffirming the country’s commitment to global energy equity.
With its unparalleled scale and focus on innovation, IEW 2025 is set to position India at the forefront of global energy transitions and strengthen its role as a catalyst for change in the energy sector.
