This Children’s day head to the International Circus Festival which is running at Rambo Circus at the Bandra Reclamation Ground.
You will find international act of varied entertainment here on display, some acts will tickle you, some will leave you gasping for breath, some nail-bitingly dangerous stunt and the others just evoke a sweet sensation – all-in-all a feel-good-feeling – as shared by Biju Nair who has donned the garb of the Clown for over 10 years with Rambo Circus !
Today when Biju looks back on the yesteryears spent at the circus, he get nostalgic. Biju was always passionate about his work in the Circus as the residential Clown. Making merry, laughing, creating spoofs to enthral the crowd at the circus which is visited by the entire family. He enjoys the sense of joy and pride his job offers. Even while there’s many issues plaguing the Circus industry.
Sujit Dilip, owner of Rambo Circus today runs his family business started by his father P T Dilip in 1991. Sujit has put India on the world map by associating with The World Circus Federation’s President HSH Princess Stephanie of Monaco in promoting the culture of Circus and its artisans in India. His endeavour bears further results with his association with the Kapoor family who consented to hosting India’s first indoor Circus at the Prithvi Theatre.

Artists come together from around the world – South America, Russia, Africa, Mauritius, Nepal and other parts of India. Acts of Human skills and wonder include the most spectacular & dangerous act The Wheel of Death and others like Rolla-Bolla, Body Contortion, Arial, Flying Trapezee, Skywalk, Africano Fire eater and many more.
The fully air conditioned tent with hi-tech light and sound show is being showcased at the Bandra Reclamation Ground with show timings being 4 pm & 7pm on weekdays and an additional show at 1pm on weekends.
