Children enjoy performance hosted by Rambo Circus a prelude to World Circus Day coming April 20

20 APRIL, 2013 ~ WORLD  CIRCUS  DAY CELEBRATIONS BEGINS ~

Dilkush’s specially challenged children enjoy the exclusive performance hosted by the troupe of Rambo Circus !

The air was filled with laughter and hands clapping with awe and joy today  at the Dilkush School for the specially challenged children.

In yet another endearing act hosted by Sujit Dilip’s RAMBO CIRCUS and it’s troupe, the grounds of the school was packed with children and the faculty who came to watch this special performance put together by the Circus artisans.

There was the not-so-routine acts of juggling, Clowns and midgets doing what they best known for, gymnasts with their awe-inspiring twists and turns, rope walker, ring leader and more…

This was put together as a prelude to the forthcoming World Circus Day which is celebrated for the fourth year by HSH Princess Stephanie of Monaco, who is also the President of the Federation Mondiale du Cirque, the body which promotes and monitors Circus as an Industry internationally. Sujit Dilip the manager and owner of Rambo Circus is the only Indian act which has joined hands with the World Circus Federation to promote Circus in India. And for the first time Rambo Circus celebrates World Circus Day in Mumbai with its troupe putting together a special piece for its audience at the Prithvi Theatre.  The acts include Indian and International performances too.

“Circus is meant to be enjoyed by the entire family – to help them spend quality time together.  Rambo Circus has endeavoured to fulfil this need and promote talent showcased in each careful act that we bring into the circus.” says Sujit Dilip  ” I want to ensure that all the participating members from the artisans to the owners get their due respect and the dignity it deserves”

” It’s no laughing matter, to ensure that the live audiences are kept enthralled at each and every show repeated every day, around the country and world that we have performed. It requires genuinity and a deep rooted passion for what we doing. Cause all this isn’t just an act for us. ” says Biju Nair, who’s worn the clown’s garb for over a decade now. ” I work on my performances most often which are impromptu, depending on the audience reaction”.
