Dr. Sandesh Mayekar celebrated his 35 Years into dental practice by launching the marathi translation of his national best selling book “More than a Mouthful – Adventures of a Dentist”. The book in marathi is called “Eka Celebrity Dentist chi Battishi” and is for everyone who wishes to read something a little different than the usual fictional stories.
This book promises to be entertaining yet factual, including real life incidences and concerns in the everyday life of a dentist which is portrayed with utmost simplicity.
The event was hosted by none other than Dr Sandesh Mayekar along with his wife Swati Mayekar and his daughters Shivani and Saloni.
The celebration started off with an introduction of the man himself with a pictographic representation of his journey followed by a heart whelming speech by Shri Babasaheb Purandare.
The stage was also honoured by Raj Thackeray, Amruta Fadnavis, Pankaja Munde, Adv. Ujjwal Nikam, Ritesh Deshmukh and Madhu Chopra, who expressed their experiences with Dr. Mayekar as their dentist and friend in a hearty and witty manner that made the audience applaud and laugh at the same time.
The event was also graced by a lot of celebrities especially Irfan Pathan, Tushar Kapoor, Sonali Kulkarni, Anu Mallik, Raj Kumar Rao, Kunal Kapoor.
Swati Mayekar stole the show with a wonderful vote of thanks addressing each and every one present and surprised the guests with some creative takeaways.
