Ananya Panday is not just a leading face in Indian cinema but also a global youth icon known for wearing multiple hats with effortless ease. From her critically noted Bollywood debut to gracing international fashion weeks and red carpets, Ananya has grown into a formidable force — as an actor, fashionista, model, and digital influencer. Her collaborations with top fashion and beauty brands, ambassadorial roles for global campaigns, and frequent appearances on best-dressed lists across Vogue, Elle, and Cosmopolitan have cemented her place as a Gen Z style trailblazer.
Beyond the glitz, she is the founder of the award-winning digital social responsibility initiative So Positive, underlining her commitment to creating safer and kinder digital spaces. Whether she’s representing India on global platforms, leading conversations on mental health, or taking bold steps in youth advocacy, Ananya continues to expand her influence far beyond the silver screen.
Now, the actress and youth icon is taking her commitment to creating a more compassionate digital and real-world space a step further. Her initiative So Positive, in partnership with the inspiring NGO Slam Out Loud, has launched a powerful new Kindness Curriculum designed for schools across India.
Rooted in art-based learning, the Kindness Curriculum is a unique program that encourages children to understand and practice empathy, compassion, and kindness from an early age. Through storytelling, poetry, and visual arts, the curriculum transforms emotional learning into an engaging and creative experience that resonates with young minds.
Ananya Panday steps into the unique role of guiding children through modules that blend her own personal journey with universally resonant lessons. By sharing her experiences and voice, she’s helping make kindness not just a value, but a life skill.
The curriculum will be distributed and practised in schools through Slam Out Loud’s Jijivisha Fellowship and Arts for All Program in cities across India. Over 2.5 lakh children are expected to benefit from this curriculum through various programs. It’s also available on So Positive’s YouTube channel, making it accessible to parents and educators globally. The team is currently working toward making it available on the Government’s DIKSHA Portal as well.
Ananya shared, “Kindness has always been at the heart of everything we do at So Positive. It’s something I deeply believe in—not just as an idea, but as a way of life. I truly feel that if we can instil kindness in kids from a young age, it becomes second nature to them as they grow up. That’s why the Kindness Curriculum is so close to my heart. With everything going on in the world, I feel an even stronger need to help build a generation that’s more empathetic, emotionally aware, and simply… kind.”
The initiative comes at a crucial time when social-emotional learning is being recognized globally as an essential tool for the holistic development of children. In a world where children are growing up amidst complex emotional and digital challenges, the Kindness Curriculum offers a powerful foundation for raising a generation that leads with empathy, resilience, and above all — kindness.
