Twenty-three years ago I stepped off a local train with a press pass and a chutzpah-loaded heart, ready to make Mumbai talk to the world. Today I run two digital babies I birthed from that same ambition: LifestylesOfMumbai.in (India’s Top Lifestyle Blog, Feedspot 2024-25) and GlobalNewsmakers.in – the place where India’s boardrooms, backstreets and red carpets meet global eyeballs.
From global newsrooms to my own URLs
CNN International, Al Jazeera, Reuters, ABC News, Channel 4, History, NatGeo – I’ve produced field stories on four continents, but every assignment taught me the same lesson: if you can crack Mumbai’s chaos, you can decode the world. So I turned the camera inward.
LifestylesOfMumbai.in – my love letter to the city
Local trains, matcha cafés, Sonu Nigam moonlight nites and Rolling Loud thunder – I chronicle the sensory overload that makes Mumbai Mumbai. Ranked No. 3 Top Mumbai Lifestyle Portal two years running, the blog is my cutting-chai corner for city stories, brand collabs and hidden-gem lists.
GlobalNewsmakers.in – India, loud & clear
GDP graphs, cricket scorecards, Bollywood premieres, start-up unicorns – if it moves India’s needle, we move it to global screens. Short, source-verified reads for investors, diaspora and decision-makers who need India insight without the noise.
Why I do it
I’ve handled PR & publicity for mega city projects, watched the Atal Setu bridge and Metro lines rewrite the Mumbai map, and still find new stories in a 2 a.m. vada-pav line. My Gen-Z son Jeehan shoots reels with me, my partner Dinesh Bajaj keeps the tech greased, and a WhatsApp army of fellow moms keeps me honest.
