Orchids The International School unveiled a unique Robotics & DIY Curriculum for their students.

Students of Orchids The International School, Thane from 1st to 10th grade designed unique robotics and DIY ideas and innovative modules and explained the functionality to the guests and faculty at the school premise today.

The exhibition included a display of robotics which included a flying pencil, an automatic dustbin using Arduino Uno, an automatic irrigation machine, an automatic toll gate, a security system with a keypad and more robotics. 

The students made a mobile stand, peddle boat, toolbox, candy stick, coaster, vase and many more creative objects as part of the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) aspect of the exhibition.

The Robotics & DIY curriculum at Orchids The International School has been meticulously designed to allow young geniuses to explore the world of technology, science and robotics extensively. The prime focus is to keep the students updated with the most recent technological and DIY techniques or advancements rather than traditional and outdated teaching methods. The best part about DIY & Robotics in Orchids is that it helps students to create their own prototypes and exhibit them on public platforms.

Chief Guest at the exhibition Mr Balasaheb Rakshe, Education Department, Thane Municipal Corporation said, “It was an amazing effort by the students  and teachers at Orchids The International School to give so much focus on experiential learning programs.  Robotics and DIY programs in school can promote scientific thinking abilities in students and improve their understanding of the laws of science through gaining practical experience from robotics sessions and hands-on learning through such exhibition.”
